If atypical antipsychotics cured sociopathy, our juvenile detention centers in this state, currently bursting at the seams, would have all been emptied long ago. Every kid who hits a parent or teacher, yells "I'm going to kill you" at a sibling, or shoots a dog with a BB gun gets on one. Usually the behavior repeats and with each new episode get a new one added or substituted. Then the anticonvulsants gets layered in. Occasionally, with repeated "treatment failure" they will commonly end up with more than 10 drugs at once. This continues until the parents and the shrinks are fed up, then it is off to corrections. Every once in a blue moon, someone will actually try something really bizarre and desparate, like get the parents to stop acting like children themselves, turn off the television and the horror movies, get control of the general violence and chaos in the home, stop Uncle Jail bird from practicing his prison shower moves on the kids, and institute some plain vanilla behavior modification. Usually the behavior improves afterwards, which is attributed to the last medication change, which was to combine 200 of Seroquel, 10 of Abilify, 100 of Topomax, 30 of Adderal, and 500 of Depakote--instead of the 250 of Seroquel, 7.5 of Abilify, 100 of Topomax, 30 of Adderal, and 500 of Depakote they were on the last med check.

The answer is, yes, with aripiprazole, 5 mg, 8 AM., daily. This is the first drug in human history to ever to treat pure, calculated evil. Other tranquilizers do not.

I leave the applicability of the label to this person, evil, to others.

Mother opens her eyes from sleep. Her angelic looking 5 year old daughter is staring at her, holding a big kitchen knife.

Her 200 lbs father fears her because she patiently waits to seek vengeance for the slightest offense.

She tried to assassinate her baby sibling dozens of times, by choking, suffocation, burning, stabbing, pounding with objects.

These behaviors stopped entirely on her medication. She became a well-mannered, adorable, little girl. Possibly, she matured, one may think.

Her insurance company conducted a unscheduled, naturalistic experiment, by denying coverage for her medicine. All behaviors recurred. They stopped on samples, and after coverage resumed.

This child had no other condition than conduct disorder, no ADHD, no psychosis, no mood disorder, being totally, and icily predatory.

Evil has an acronym and it is AMA. On this there is no relativism.

Evil is of course the ultimate in relativistic terms. For every act or actor of evil there is a perfectly rational and sound explanation (from their perspective). George Bush's 'evildoers' are in fact commiting quite rational acts when viewed from their point. We of course disagree with the use of asymetrical warfare and the direct targeting of civilians, but from their perspective, they are merely going after the soft targets that they can; it would be crazy for alQuaida to stage a frontal assault on an Armor unit. Evil is not the intent of these people, but the acts themselves are open to judgement as to whether or not they are evil. Even if the acts can be judged evil, the actors are only working from the perspective of enlightened self-interest. Causing or spreading 'evil' is not the intent, merely the consequence of their plans.
Evil and evil people really only exists in fiction, such as in Bond films.
