But trust me, I have seen many, many canadians getting procedures in the states they could not get in Canada in a timely basis. This includes radiaton therapy for cancer patients. Dave: I live 30 miles from the canadian border. Our system has it’s problems. But trust me, I have seen many, many canadians getting procedures in the states they could not get in Canada in a timely basis. This includes radiaton therapy for cancer patients. I've seen Sicko, and though I'm not a Michael Moore fan, he did a good job with it. Yes, he could have made it a 4-hour movie and covered some of the good things about our doctors, but our insurance industry sucks and should be (and could be) totally eliminated.
