I’m a Canadian. How more clear can I put this? If any of you american’s need medical treatment that would otherwise be debilitating if you didn’t, and need a Canadian sponsor to make it happen, if you can pay rent for a month or two, I have a list of many Canadians who would be more than happy to sponsor your procedure in our hospitals. Our government is paid to make sure NOONE DIES. Notice the period? We don’t execute, we just make sure everyone lives, our gov’t is mandated. email dave.makie at gee mail dotter commer. Any average canadian would be more than happy to save an american life. It’s your fault your gov’t sucks, but we look past that.
Thanks Dave. I’ve seen Sicko, and though I’m not a Michael Moore fan, he did a good job with it. Yes, he could have made it a 4-hour movie and covered some of the good things about our doctors, but our insurance industry sucks and should be (and could be) totally eliminated. That is, if the politicians were not pocketing $100 million per year in their campaign contributions.
SO Jack is your idea of a “good job” lying about the inavailability of treatment (in this case bone marrow transplants in renal cell cancer) that are experimental and have not been shown to prolong life/cause remission. Sorry but Micheal Moore lying is not my idea of a good job. He could have easily have made his point without overeaching with lies (or his lack of knowledge).
Dave: I live 30 miles from the canadian border. Our system has it’s problems. But trust me, I have seen many, many canadians getting procedures in the states they could not get in Canada in a timely basis. This includes radiaton therapy for cancer patients. Is this your idea of making sure the government makes sure no one dies?
PS: If you know anything about the American judicial system than you know the death penalty is a statre specific etiology. My state does not have it by the way.
