Quitting because of an error? I don't understand.... Haven't we all been taught to learn from an error? Haven't we all done this since the beginning of our lives?

This modern world we have created is full of mistakes. Humans are error prone. The general public just needs to understand that healthcare workers are humans too, and that all humans make mistakes. It's just unfortunate that people will lose trust in the healthcare system the minute an error occurs.

annonymous RN

I essentially quit because of an error - well, it was the last straw, anyway.

And I did get counselling.
I'm definitely happier now.
