		<description>I seem to recall that addictive disease (alcohol, substance abuse, gambling, etc.) got counted as &quot;illness&quot; for the purpose of counting a &quot;medical&quot; bankruptcy. So if the person is a drug addict, got medical treatment as part of his addiction, the medical bill was the cause of his bankruptcy. Never mind the money spent supporting the addiction.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The problem with papers authored by Himmelstein and/or Woolhandler is, you know what the conclusions will be. You just have to figure out where they hid the bias this time.</description>
