Great idea! Are we talking shuffle, nano, or the big boy iPod video here. For TV’s, would 20″, 32″, 42″ plasma, 55″, or 60″ do? An even better idea is to fill the ipod with inspirational songs, videos and lectures to help motivate the addict. The TV’s will already be useful, as there are plenty of daytime commercials to help motivate people to get a job, expand themselves, or buy real estate. Oprah can be very inspirational too!

Perhaps it’ll generate enough income to score another hit.
An idea that could have only come from someone spending taxpayer funds. No reasonable person spending non-fungible money would ever think something like that could work.
If you want addicts to quit, you have to show them the window ledge and be willing to take them there the minute they screw up. That, or they have to quit entirely on their own. Bribes won’t work, no matter what they are paid in.
It helps my bank and my ISP get new customers, so why should drug addiction be any different? Heck I’d want to be an addict too if I could get an ipod out of it…
