ER’s are responding to wait times by hiring more physicians. That’s good. But some are equating time with quality. Is that true?

I don’t think short wait times necessarily equal high quality, but long wait times generally do equal low quality.
Long wait times are one of the most obvious indications of quality problems in the ER, which is probably why the media tends to pick on them so much.
