I have been on 300 mg twice a day for almost two years now.

Do I think it is helping my fibro? Yes, just try not taking it for one day and see where you get. I do not advise doing this because no matter what anyone says, there is going to be side-affects no matter what drug you are on for a certain amount of time you will become dependant on it. I am not saying you will become an adict however you become dependant.

I don't know one minute the doctors are there to help us all out and OH this wonderful new drug, and then in the next breath they all make you feel like well you all know what I mean.

I am FED UP ... it is time for someone to get mad enough to do something about this.

I shall be back...

I have nothing to comment on to the anonymous post previous. However, since this Weblog subject is in regards to FMS and Lyrica, I will proceed.
I have been on Lyrica for 5 days. My experience before this med is that I take Rozerem for sleep, Cymbalta to counter the effects of sleep deprivation and pain that I have had for 15 years.Terrible really. The first night I took it I didnt have as much problem sleeping. I actually woke up without the feeling of being hit by a truck. Still, some stiffness. I really think that there is something to this med, although I am reserving judgment for awhile. Anyone else have something similar?

Any objective diagnostic indicators yet for this wholly subjective litigation diagnosis? Anything beyond the wholly subjective chronicity of complaints and wholly subjective "tender points?"

Thankfully, we have the Black v. Food Lion ruling to keep most of the "post-traumatic" fibromyalgia cr*p out of the courtroom.
