What are the reasons to GET one?
I have a cell phone but only rarely use it — to me they just represent electronic slavery.

Thank you anonymous for leaving that comment. I can say that I’m not an expert at electronics but what I try to do is put some common sense behind emotional purchases that we all seem to make at some point (me included)

I did mention that the iphone is only compatible with the AT&T network actually and mentioned that because of this, it may not be a good investment if you don’t like At&T. Now that I know that At&t signed with apple an exclusive 5 year contract…it really does suck for people who want something on a different plan.

I don’t agree with you about the rollover minutes. For heavy users, the rollover minutes will not matter much.

about the unlimited data plan…i will change the post to reflect that. but also does this unlimited data plan…if you use the phone on the net…do you use up the minutes if you are on the net? then i doubt the “rollover” will help much because you’ll be using up your minutes in no time.

Thank you for commenting on kevinmd because I don’t know “diddly squat about the iphone”- enjoy the iphone
