Clothes pale relative to demeanor, sincerity, confidence, attention, etc. Were I making the dress code rules, I would require that clothing be clean, not distracting for the environment, culturally consistent with ones professional role, and ALWAYS with a prominent name tag showing ones professional standing is terms plain to the average layperson (“MD” “Chiropractic”, “Nurse” “Nurses Aid” “Respiratory Therapist”.
