Now a former Amtrak fan, this story is very disturbing. If flight attendants and fellow passengers can deal with unruly passengers until the plane is on the ground, why can’t Amtrak personnel deal with a passenger until they are at least at the next station, where somebody can meet the passenger.

It is disgusting how they chose to deal with this individual, regardless of the etioloy of his unruly behavior.

Another example of how anything socialized (medicine, uneconomical transportation systems, etc) will treat people.

They’re immune from personal responsibility, after all. So it’s all right to mistreat people.
