He doubts it will have much impact:
Some conservatives are worried that Sicko will move us in the direction of socialized medicine. I doubt it. While Sicko may inform the health care debate in this country for the next month or so, it will probably have about as much impact on our health care system as Fahrenheit 9/11 had on the 2004 election — which is to say, not much.

You are sooooooo wrong . Moor’s concern and support for average Joe’s health insurance, exposes issues that need to be addressed by practitioners and policy makers. A conscious awaking and a movement that needs broadcasting far and wide., and it will … mark my words!!!!
I’m a Canadian. How more clear can I put this? If any of you american’s need medical treatment that would otherwise be debilitating if you didn’t, and need a Canadian sponsor to make it happen in canada, if you can pay rent for a month or two, I have a list of many Canadians who would be more than happy to sponsor your procedure in our hospitals. Our government is paid to make sure NOONE DIES. notice the period? we don’t execute, we just make sure everyone lives, our gov’t makes sure of it. email dave.makie at gee mail dotter commer. Any average candaian would be more than happy to save an american life. It’s your fault your gov’t sucks, but we look past that.
