There must be some kind of line that is crossed here:
Dutch broadcaster BNN plans to air a television show next week in which a terminally ill woman will decide who out of three young patients will get her kidney.Viewers will be able to advise the 37-year-old woman, known as Lisa, via text messages which of the candidates to pick, the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper said.

This concept is tacky, at best, but if it could somehow be used to increase the number of organ donors, the show might have some value. I think the real question may be how can or will this show increase the number of people willing to donate their organs after death. I’m afraid the show will only increase awareness but not affect behavior.
