Physicians need to become more involved, donating their time and money, if they want to accomplish change. Why don't you join and participate in your professional societies and PACs. Why don't you support physicians running for public office? Why don't you run for office? Do you even know that there is a physician seeking the republican presidential nomination? Two of my friends are in the State legislature here in Texas. This is how change is accomplished in this country. Money talks, losers walk picketlines. You truly have lost your way when you consider unionization. This is the difference between being the boss and being an employee. This is the most ridiculous way to effect change imaginable.
