What Dr. Nissen is upset about is that a high official of the FDA sent out an email questioning his motives. That email seemed libleous to me. This is a former spokesperson for a drug company using the status their government position confers upon them to sully the reputation of Dr. Nissen. Now some of the analysis of the analysis I have read certainly suggests that the hype may be overdone, but I do not believe that Dr. Nissen is responsible for that (except insofar as he was absolutely right about Vioxx). The FDA has disavowed their own spokesman's words. This has nothing to do with an anonymous blogger; it has everything to do with a very un-anonymous Douglas Arbesfeld who is slandering/libelling Dr. Nissen.

Kevin, you are just one big BS spinner.
