Panda Bear says that German surgeons make only 70k per year.
Thats absolutely baffling! Whats the avg German income for other professions such as lawyers or accountants? I cant imagine anybody in Germany choosing to become a doc for such low salaries.
Fortunately for Germans, people make career decisions at the same foolish age when they are doing other boneheaded things like getting pregnant by sociopathic losers destined to sir violent children, ride motorcycles without helmuts, and chug-a-lug vodka.
How many people, knowing the score, would make the same career decisions at 40? Upon simple youthful foolishness, every society depends for some of its most critical servants.
