It has nothing to do with jealousy, the breastfeeding into adulthood should stop. There is a satisfaction with doing something on your own that they will never get. Most people that are in medical school are over 21 so they are adults. My parents are well off and wanted to pay for my entire medical school, but I wouldn't let them because I felt at that point they had done enough and it was time to take care of myself completely. You don't respect your colleagues whose school was paid for? It is not like medical students have to pay as they go through medical school so it puts them at a competitive disadvantage. Just because they will make more later on because they don't have to pay back loans you lose respect? This is jealousy plain and simple. The first makes me lose all respect for the person. The second is a horrible financial decision, because it doesnt matter if you went to Harvard or South Dakota (If they have a medical school.)insurance and Medicare pays the same.
