Backlash continues on Michael Moore’s Cuba stunt, with some revealing pictures:
Only, it isn’t the best. Not near it. Those foreigners and wealthy people who go to Cuba, including the people that Michael Moore are bringing down, are only shown the few top of the line facilities which probably are some of the best in the world. It’s a huge propaganda campaign aimed at deceiving people into believing that Cuba does, in fact, have the best healthcare system in the world. This is totally false. The clinics and hospitals that the everyday Cuban sees, if they see one at all, are cockroach infested hovels that one might be wise to stay away from lest they get worse.Michael Moore is just aiding in promoting Fidel Castro’s mythology. If he gets away with it, he’ll have all blue-state Americans believing it rather than just most of them.

ive never seen any of his movies. and i dont think i will begin to.
Hollywood would never let truth get in the way of telling a story.
I thought it was illegal to visit Cuba except in limited circumstances. Don’t worry, after today’s massacre at Virginia Tech I’m sure he is salivating at the opportunity to produce a sequel to “Bowling for Columbine”.
You americans make me sick.
You prefer a murder as president than see a movie
U americans are REALLY AND TOTALLY SICK. Have u realized the film was not about the Cuba (and what about England, France and Canada???)? The film was about PEOPLE! PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP AND CARE! For gods sake, this film was about AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!
U are too stupid to realize that even IN Cuba medicine is much cheaper then in states… yeah, 240$ vs 5 cents… no comments..
So, Kevin, you have worked in clinics in Cuba? I am a “blue stater” and believe me when I say that we are not stupid nor blind followers of a documentarian, etc. I know many folks who have worked in Cuba. In addition, one of my best friends lives in Canada (an American), and another is a Canadian. I also had the benefit of socialized medicine when I lived in Spain. My brother has lived in England, and my British sister-in-law knows all the ins-and-outs of socialized medicine and supports it. Anyone who does not support good medical care for evryone in this, the richest country *in the history of the world* either (a) IS A DOCTOR — clearing my throat with an “ahem” there — and stands to make more cash under our present system, or (b) is truly selfish, ignorant and/or uncaring. Or both, perhaps. Kathy, long-time reader
