You know, this would actually be funny to me if I wasn’t finishing up my third year of medical school with a $186,000 in debt thus far and one more year to go.

Somebody shoot me. This is one thing I did not (but should have) obsess over as a pre-med.

I can’t stand beggers. I borrowed and worked my way through med school (against the rules but some rules are made to be broken), but never begged. It has been my observation that those who feel most entitled to the assistance of others, when the opportunity comes for them to give, are the most self-centered. He will probably become a cash-up-front cosmetic surgeon.

if you are begging. you must not have confidence in your ability to pay off your loan. i wouldnt choose you as a physician or a resident. there is plenty of loan money. thats a disgrace to the profession you are entering. do you really think you are worth it?
