Suprised the husband puts up with this.

It's unfortunate how we have so many people with serious diseases who are so full of life and want nothing more than a chance at a normal life for themselves and everyone in their lives.

It's even more unfortunate that we have so many people who's very existance revolves arounds telling everyone else how miserable they are and trying to make the rest of the world put life on hold to care for them and feel sorry for them.

eiShe could move into any well-grounded metal structure and it would act as a Faraday cage. A large dog kennel or a chicken house would do nicely. I would put my money on the symptoms continuing.

Funny thing about these syndromes. They have been around as long as we have been recording clinical observations, the labels and causal attribution changes with the times but the symptoms endure. Probably the best label was the long defunct "neurasthenia". I have seen people get disablility and live in foil boxes for what perfectly fits somatization disorder, and emphatically reject the orthodox diagnosis hanging on to their belief with fanatical intensity completely unfazed by the perculiar fact that going to extremes to avoid the accused enviromental agent has done nothing to improve their functioning. Usually their is some web-footed clinician playing along, treated them for candida, chelating them, etc.

Over the last 20 years or so it has been "multiple chemical sensitivity". I guess we are due for a change. If it will keep a few morons off the internet and reduce our trade deficit with asia in electronics purchases, I guess it is just as well--as long as they don't sucker social security into giving them my money.

"Rod Read, director of Electro-Sensitivity UK, said: 'I have seen hundreds of people who exhibit symptoms they directly attribute to the electrical items around them."

Now there is solid proof for you. Geez!

And of course by "is" you mean "claims to be". Has there ever been even a single double-blind study that showed someone was even *aware* of the EMR around them, much less affected by it? This seems like such an easy test to perform.

I like the part about how her TV emits gamma rays.
