I read all sorts of things about what the average otolaryngologist makes in most parts of the country, but in my neck of the heavily managed woods, if you try to do a good job and not move patients in and out of your office like a mill, that's pretty much what you can expect to earn.<br/><br/>My main reward, however, is not cash--its the smile on the kiddo's face when he comes back to me being able to breathe properly. I suppose in that regard, I am indeed a rich doctor. I actually don’t care if you believe me.
