Doctor endorsements

Not all are who they seem:

Consumer Reports found a doctor endorsing a fat-burning supplement who is a psychiatry resident. And another doctor quoted in an ad for weight-loss shoes is an OB-GYN.

I love TV ads where they show “Dr. Kevin Whatsisname, M.D.” giving a testimonial. Because it’s so much more credible coming from a “Doctor M.D.” than just a plain ol’ “M.D.”
