It's not to look like some celebrity or to pander to my vanity. <br/><br/>The reason's quite simple: all else being equal, the more attractive people go further in life. The trade-off is small in comparison with the edge you'd get. I am a teen (male, non-ugly, non-fat, non-smoker) and I’d do it, provided there was minimal risk involved.

And the idea that he can screen the patients psychologically is as ridiculous as a psychiatrist doing liposuction. For one thing, his has a strong financial bias to find them all suitable. Any adolescent considering plastic surgery needs some indepth time with a psychiatrist who doesn't have dog in the hunt.
