In private practice I made a very comfortable living using written medical records and felt I was taking good care of patients. I am now at a federal hospital doing locums work using EHR. What a joke! You can put EHR where the sun doesn't shine. EHR is a detriment to good patient care. I have been out of private practice for almost two years.
