An organ donation proposal in Israel:

Under a new proposal someone who had previously signed their organ donor card would be given points helping them to move up the waiting list should they one day need a transplant organ.

In the United States, you can now increase your chances of getting a transplant by agreeing to donate your organs when you die. Check out http://www.lifesharers.org.
