More embracing of junk medicine: All AMSA-approved of course

Dr. RW points us to this AMSA-sponsored “Circle of Healers” retreat. Medical students, many who graduate with over $100,000 in debt, spent $500 on this program learning essential medicine like therapeutic drumming and shaministic journeying.

I was real involved in AMSA about 25 years ago and found that, since it attrated the activists, that is was very leftist–not at all representative of medical students in general.
Also, now that I think about it, all of the people I knew well enough to keep up with–are out of patient care.
