An ad in Craiglist offers a swap of lodging for breastmilk – for all members of the house:
We are offering a free room for a woman who is willing to provide breast milk for consumption to the household. We are an otherwise vegan house but have recently read A.O. Wilson’s study of the benefits of human breast milk to all human beings of any age. This is not sexual. Neither appearance nor sexual preference are of any concern to us.

Why does it take no special psychic abiity to divine the California local of this solicitation. I wonder if she is one of Criminallopath’s neighbors? Who wouldn’t like a little milk to go with their fruits, flakes, and nuts?
Although I cringe at the thought of consuming breast milk, it makes more sense than for us to be consuming cow or goat milk.
We’re the only mammals on earth who drink the milk of other species. For that matter, we’re the only ones that continue to drink milk after we’ve been weaned.
Ahh, but some of us are never weaned….then again I often settle for soymilk…

Some kittens like milk long after they are weaned. And while many American cats are lactose-intolerant, for some reason most European cats are not. We always poured milk for cats back in Russia and they didn’t have any problems with it.
Once in France in a hotel there was this scrawny cat walking around. So during breakfast a woman poured a little half and half into a small plate and put it on the floor. It was gone in a matter of minutes. In the next few days the cat came during breakfast begging for more.
