“The flatulence, diarrhea and uncontrollable oily discharges are problems that become worse when the drug is taken along with a high-fat meal.”

It’s like Antabuse (disulfiram) for overeaters. Consume too much fat and soil yourself. But of course the foodaholics will want to blame someone else for their public embarassment, so the drug maker will be sued.

Alli’s side effects occur when you don’t use it properly, which is like every other drug. The website, http://www.myalli.com, says that the side effects are preventable. It also says it’s more than just taking a pill you have to commit yourself to eating right and exercising. Not to mention, this pill isn’t for everyone, so if you’re not ready for it, then you should not take it.

Would be nice if they just didn’t get so damn fat in the first place.
