These will not work well because most people that sell smokes sell the ones that appeal the most. They are put in front while the ones that don't appeal got to the back. I don't know the stats on smoking rates, but generally they're going down are they not? It appeals to people's vanity, which is a pretty strong force. We've had them here in Canada for ages. I don't think I've ever heard any smoker mention them as a deterrent. In fact, it lead to a brief surge in popularity of 'cigarette keepers', lovely fabric covers for your package of smokes. Sigh. Bah. We’ve had them here in Canada for ages.
