not to be pedantic, but a hoax implies a motive to confuse. The CN litebrites were never meant to appear to be bombs. The fake bomb at NEMC was a hoax and a big part of the reason the city over reacted to the harmless advertising campaign no one had cared about for well over a week prior (You could see the one on the BU bridge while driving down the rover for over a week)
