If the answer is yes to both of these, then a whole lot of doctors in this country should be losing their licenses soon.

Be careful what you suggest. It might be taken as a policy position by a politician looking to reform the rather broken medical "discipline" system.

But when there is a shortage of good primary care doctors, you don't start taking medical licenses away because of bad recordkeeping.

The first part is irrelevant to the case in issue not to mention a self-created problem (not just PCPs but across the board).

...I have wondered if Dr. Hsu's ethnicity had anything to do with him getting singled out.

Ack. Playing the race card. I did not know that the Revruhnd Jesse "can I get a shakedown" Jackson was also an MD. The facts of the case are the best points to argue.

Straw man.

That’s not what’s being said around here. Read the article. There were lots of hinky things about the case, including a blatant conflict of interest on the part of the doctor investigating Dr. Hsu’s practice.
