A surgeon operates on the wrong patient

i once had 2 patients with the same name going for the same procedure on the same day… one case was cancelled. the other came into the OR just as I was telling my attending that so and so’s case was cancelled….. both were young female patients for an OB procedure… my attending was not very happy.
