I've been to two of them, and they are by far the most interesting and useful CME conferences I've ever attended. And Dr. Auerbach is a fantastic lecturer.<br/><br/>I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and suggest that his motivation is to prevent future deaths like this. His blog post was excellent.
