Parents sue hospital . . .

. . . after their son undergoes a gender-changing procedure:

A couple whose only son underwent a sex change operation has sued a hospital for compensation and to have the surgery reversed because their “family line” was broken, a Chinese newspaper reported.

Unless the son was too young to give his own consent for the procedures (which he obviously WANTED), how can the parents sue for anything? This is so ridiculous it almost sounds like it could happen in Pennsylvania….

Didn’t they used to abort females in China? Sounds like a legit case to me.

My hunch is the family line wasn’t going anywhere whether or not this guy/gal had a surgical procedure.
