I don't like the thought of my doctor being able to access my health record on his laptop at home. How secure is his/her laptop? How can I trust that my personal health information isn't ending up in someone else's (or a bunch of people's) hands. I don't like it. This scares the hell out of me.

The difference is that its not meant to show value to the patient. Question is under optimal circumstances, are EMR's useful for the doctor. Once we can make it useful for the MD, only then will people then see it as good for them. <br/>I can't belive that p4p has so much momentum but EHR are floundering in "is it worth it"
