ADD into adulthood

Yep,
A whole generation of kids who are perfectly normal, merely near the tail of the bell curve on behaviors. Those behaviors were tollerable in the decades before, but then an increasingly intollerant schooling and social system required all to behave identically as nice little drones.
Now they are adults, have not acquired the same coping skills they would have without medication and, most importantly, society has lost its coping skills for accepting individuals just a little bit different.
And what of this grand generation long exeriment. Have these individuals been altered by the use of amphetamines present in their brains during all those neurologic maturation processes that run from before birth until the early 20s. Has the short term payoff in the use of these drugs made better adults or not?
