Racial differences in end-of-life care

A study suggests that black patients are more likely than white patients to prefer life-sustaining care when confronted with an incurable illness or serious mental and physical disabilities.

In my experience Latinos are most likely to insist upon medical futility. They want their loved ones life to be extended another few days for more torture, tubes, procedures, broken ribs.

He’d say that blacks have been living off the largess of the working world and just want to suck out every last penny that they can. Or something like that.
