A hospital fires a county’s only pediatrician

Looks like the hospital is going to hire NPs and PAs to replace the doctors.

I’ve been wondering how long it would take before hospitals would start laying off docs and replacing them with midlevels. I was suspicious that this has been happening for a long time in rural areas and looks like i was right.
