i have seen & heard dr. gupta on t.v. & have read some of his articles in magazines. i think he is very knowlegeable, informative,
& yes, humble, {as someone has already stated} i am curious as to his background nationality. he speaks w/ a decided american accent but looks to be of east indian descent. i would like to know more about him. there is no racism in this querry…just curious.

anonymous is a surgeon, but doesnt know who dr gupta is??? you really should broaden your interests a bit… no wonder so many doctors are so awful socially…

I have to agree with you Kathy! I never watch TV, and if it weren’t for the idiot box in the surgeon’s lounge I wouldn’t know who Dr. Gupta is either.

Hi, Dr. Kevin! Thanks for linking to my photo of Dr. Gupta. He really does look celebritylike in that billboard, doesn’t he? He seems (on the TV) to be so unassuming and humble, really… I wonder what he thinks of his CNN billboard? Cheers!
