A doctor gives a woman 300mg of IV Phenergan for nausea

November 30, 2006

This is a lethal dose. An osteopathic surgeon (not exactly sure what that is – a DO perhaps?) had to change his name due to the 110 other malpractice suits against him.

He’ll need a group of other experts just like himself to determine if it was malpractice or not. And, he’ll need some caps on his potential damages.

He is a stark raving lunatic.
DO-yes, licensed as osteopathic physician.
Here’s a link for the records in Alabama.

Where was the pharmacist on this one? Or the nurse administering the dose?

Good Lord.

This is what happens when you have unqualified people practicing medicine. I mean, this doc lives in a trailer park!

Immediate license suspension pending investigation is necessary to protect the public welfare. This case argues for more stringent criteria in order to obtain/maintain a medical license.

This scamster would have done better taking an executive position at Healthsouth and changing his name to Scrushy.

Unqualified? Without question yes..anyone who would order such a dose of Phenergan (a drug that has been around forever) for a patient must be either “too ignorant of clinical pharmacology to have a medical license or mentally unblanced. I only wish he had not been a D.O. (I cringe when I see fellow D.O.’s mentioned in such shameful episodes.) I wish he had been an M.D. so you guys (M.D.’s) could take responsability for him.) And BTW what does living in a trailer park have to do with it. I lived in one ss a junior in college.)It was great…..errr at the time…. a quarter century ago.
