Vague associations of some gene being present twice as often in cases vs controls occur for many conditions, but what about the vast majority of people with the 'disease state' that don't have the putative markers? <br/><br/>The insurer perhaps (the family should read the contract) has the obligation to provide validated therapy, but 101 days of inpatient care for someone who merely refuses to eat sounds like heroic levels of care.
