Don't let the EPA withdraw Albuterol USP from production. he risk of damaging the environment is low but the risk of killing asthmatics because thay have no rescue inhaler is high. I am allergic to sulfas. All the other Albuterol preparations contain sulfas. A xopenex inhaler is not as effective. Serevent and Atrovent can make an attack worse for many. There is really no substitute for Albuterol USP in a pocket inhaler. It is stupid to imagine that the samll number of asthmatics, 21 million out of 300 million will destroy the atmosphere with their little inhalers. let them pick on cows. They give off more atmosphere destroying gas than we do. Protest before it is too late. Write officials and let them know the danger.

What would the cost be of generic albuterol combined with a generic steroid inhaler??<br/>I personally use Advair for my very mild asthma, but if money were an issue I would have no problem with using a generic steroid inhaler.

Maybe I'm a bit heartless, but isn't this exactly what we WANT patients to be doing?

i am constantly short of breath from chronic lung disease that doesn't get better with inhalers. I would be $1000 a month to be symptom free.
