Spinich planting, harvesting, and processing in that area is 100 percent mechanized. Farm machines cut the spinich and dump it into large bins that are immediatly refrigerated and taken to the processing plant. This is in contrast to Lettuce which is mostly hand picked and packed. There are many suspects in this outbreak, wildlife wondering the cattle areas and spinich fields, processing machines, dust, but not humans in this particular case.
