I heard this report driving to work today. When I went to medical school everything was primary care. During my second year, when we would study different organ systems, our professors would say “as a primary care doctor you can treat diverticulitis with antibiotics or send them to a GI specialist.” I called it brainwashing. The majority of my classmates went into primary care. I hope they heard this report.
