Scare tactics for UK antiobesity ads

Wouldn’t the ads be more effective if someone less attractive was drinking the cooking oil. We’re exposed to so many advertisements with beautiful models that my mind is forced to ignore them (otherwise I’d spend most of my day aroused).

Why not get an obese person to down the cooking oil? Wouldn’t that stand out more and send a stronger message?

Do you really think someone with cooking oil running out of their mouth, down their chin and onto their neck atractive? Besides there are still some people who think someone with a bit of meat on those bones are attractive.
