It matters not if he has a diagnosis of manic-depressive or not: He was drunk. Alcohol intoxication trumps everything.

Really he wasn’t that drunk. His blood alcohol level was only about a third over the legal driving limit; probably not that much over the limit. Probably enough to remove inhibition and say what her really thinks.
Besides, why does alcohol causes one to attack Jews? Could the drunks pick someone else for a change, for example, Greeks or protestants or whatever? That is if it is just alcohol…

So what! In the manner of the Israeli government he should state I “will conduct an inquiry into this incident to determine what happened”, then place the blame on some Jewish group and maintaining it was “collateral damage”!
