WOW, This was an exciting story to read !!!

Somwhere in the first paragraph I probably would have done an awake oral intubation.

If a doctor is ‘that’ worried about the grandchildren- maybe a course in better decision making would be a worthwhile endeavor.

Angioedema disappears without even treating it-once the airway is secure.
