I am so glad this made the BBC News, since they're having such trouble with the anti-MMR faction over there. I'd love to be able to tell Dr. Hilleman that I have such confidence in his vaccine that my son got it twice! (Not by choice, actually-- there was a storage temperature error during shipping of the batch my boy's first MMR came from, and the state health department let all the docs who used it know, and they let the parents whose kids got vaxed from that batch know. The whole experience made me deeply impressed with the attention to proper recordkeeping in our healthcare system and of course in the professionalism and dedication of our pediatrician's office.)<br/><br/>I, for one, am so glad I didn't listen to the scare stories and instead chose evidence-based medicine to protect my family's health.
