Somewhat off topic, but this doesn’t feel right:
On the downside, tweens and their younger siblings can present their own array of challenges, said Stephanie Lapilato, a stylist who admits giving a 4-year-old a pedicure takes a lot of concentration.“Their feet are so tiny you have to be really careful,” she said. Since the little ones have been walking only for a few years, there isn’t much in the way of calluses to rub off, or even dead skin.
I’m sure that cosmetic spas and laser therapy aren’t far behind.

This is terrible!! You should see what happens here on Long Island – the kids and their dogs get the royal treatment — what has our society become?
I agree Anon 7:28. But this kind of businesses are mushrooming. After the parents, it’s the children huh. Maybe these are products of the Millionarie’s Camp parents send their children to.
Business and morality. There’s no morality in business, I must be joking. You have to be thick skinned to open any business you can think of in the world. Even if it means corrupting the mind of minors.
Next stop, banks. I hope they wont lower the age for extension cards. What’s next for the children to do? Stump on their parents to get a spa?
A couple weeks ago my (8) year old grandaughter asked me to take her to “New York Nails” so that she could get a manicure and artificial nails on…. Say what?
At 8 years old, I was making mud pies and climbing up the mulberry tree. Oh, and painting my nails with iodine.
I would blame the lawyers, but I know that it actually is the fault of El Presidente Jorge W. al-Bush.
Yeah, well when the standards of female desireability are pampered, slutty, nasty, arrogant, stupid bitches like Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, etc. that’s what you get.
Self worth = material.
Yes, not to mention “Bratz Dolls.”
