A family holds vigil for wrong patient

May 31, 2006

Tragic:

An American family stood vigil for weeks at the hospital bedside of a severely injured woman they thought was their daughter before realising she was really the girl’s classmate and that their own child was dead and already buried.

Sad story, I wonder how long it will take an ambulance chaser to come along and try to make a buck off it.

Do you freaking jobs and there won’t be any problems to make a buck off of.

“Do you freaking jobs and there won’t be any problems to make a buck off of.”

Who is the who? Who do you think is at fault and has to pay?

Another example of the mentality of “Something bad, tragic, and sad happenned so someone must pay.”

It doesn’t matter who. It is a tragic story which I am sure some JD will try to benefit off of.

It is tragic all the way around, but if the family can’t tell the difference then who is to blame. You don’t run DNA testing on dead people id immediate family members say “Yep, that is my daughter”. For weeks they didn’t know the difference.

so eager to blame! so cynical! maybe she was so injured they COULD’NT tell the difference. did the patient have another family waiting for her? maybe it was a blessing for her to have someone, anyone. it’s no one’s fault, just a mistake- they were panicked, scared, and wanting to believe their daughter is alive!
